How We Are

East Broward Federated Women's Republican Club was founded in Broward County in 1971. We hold monthly meetings with invited speakers, candidates and elected officials and support Bennett Elementary School, providing books and backpacks to all first and second graders and mentoring students.

We believe that the most effective government is government closest to the people.  We believe good government is based on the individual and the belief that each person's ability, dignity, freedom and responsibilites must be honored and recognized. We believe that equal rights, equal justice and equal opportunity for all, regardless of race, creed, age, sex or national origin should be guaranteed.

The object and purpose of this organization is:

  • to promote an informed public through political education and activities;
  • to increase the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government through active participation;
  • to facilitate cooperation among Republican Women's Clubs and to promote unity and cohesion among all Republicans;
  • to foster loyalty to the Republican Party and to promote its principles and candidates in all elections including non-partisan elections;
  • to support the objectives and policies of the National Federation of Republican Women, the Republican National Committee, The Republican Party of Florida and to work for the election of the Republican Party's nominees.
